Optical Evaluation

LightCube provides a wide range of Optical characterization solutions for all your needs

Absolute radiant measurement

Our laboratory is equipped with a wide range of measurement instruments offering high sensitivity, resolution and range.

Thanks to our integrating sphere with a diameter of 1.65m we are able to measure light sources up to 200 kilo-lumen (from single LED lamps to street lighting systems).

Spectral measurement

The  electroluminescence emission spectra of a light source is a fundamental information to clearly understand its operation. We can provide both high resolution, high sensistivity measurement and quick characterization

Photoluminescence

Photoluminescence measurements can be used to characterize materials submitted to an external light stimulus. Our laboratory is equipped with a wide range of lasers and high-power LEDs to obtain stimulation from UV to Vis wavelenghts.

Spatial resolved photoluminescence - microPL

With this measure you will be able to spatially resolve the photoluminescence of a material or a device (more than micrometric resolution).

Wavelength resolved optical emission mapping

With a spectral resolved emission mapping it is possible to carefully characterize a device emission pattern at different wavelengths, thus identifying defects, imperfection and inomogeneous characteristics.

Thermal optical characterization

The optical properties of next generation devices and materials are strongly affected by temperature. Precisely knowing effects of temperature on device behaviour will sensibly increase your product efficiency.
