The LightCube research center dedicates its main research efforts on the investigation and fabrication of novel optoelectronic based devices, light sources and electronic driving circuits for optoelectronic applications.

Particularly, the center emphasizes on next generation optoelectronic devices with high application potentials.

Research projects are focused in the following areas:

LED systems  Led devices for Lighting Applications
Laser Diode  Blue laser diode for optical data storage systems
Backlight  Advanced LED backlighting
